The "Stash"
Almost every hobbiest has a collection of projects waiting in the wings. Scale modelers are no different and most will have at least several kits stashed in a closet somewhere. Some of us have a great many more.

On the next page are some pictures of my "stash." As you will see, I have lots of kits. Part of the fun is collecting. Also part of the fun is picking through them whenever it is time to start a new project. I mostly build 1/72 scale contemporary military jets, but if you look through my collection you will also find ships, submarines, prop driven aircraft, and even the odd science fiction subject or dinosaur. A little variety is nice once and awhile.

Although I build some kits "straight out of the box," most feature at least a change of markings or paint scheme. Sometimes I will cut out and reposition wing flaps or ailerons, as these are usually molded into the wing in 1/72 scale. On a rare occasion, I will do an extensive modification to create a "what if"....something that wasn't, but easily might have been.

Whatever the subject, the goal is simple relaxation and creativity.
